Featuring Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and
Guanacaste’s beach delights at Tamarindo/Playa Flamingo Area

DAY 01: SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA
Welcome to Costa Rica land of friendly people and natural beauty.  Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and the transfer you to the Arenal area by microbus.  Check –in at a local rustic lodge featuring rooms with an awesome view of Arenal Volcano.

DAY 02: ARENAL AREA
After breakfast, take the morning to explore the quaint town of La Fortuna.  Next enjoy an afternoon guided walk in Arenal National Park to see the lava flows and rainforest.  In the evening, visit Eco-thermals Fortuna Hot Springs.  This is a project that was built to harmonize with nature, it is consists of pools of hot springs surrounded by natural forest.  One of the pools even has a cascading waterfall for a natural soothing back massage.  After you have soaked in the hot springs, dine on typical Costa Rican food in the family styled restaurant.  Return to your lodge.

DAY 03: MONTEVERDE
Enjoy your last morning in the Arenal Area.  After lunch at the hotel, get ready to transfer to Monteverde.  Join us for a scenic boat ride across Arenal Lake that gives you an amazing view of the volcano and also a horseback ride through rainforest and pastures.  Here you have the chance to see wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, and tropical birds.  After check-in at your Monteverde lodge, take some free time to check out the locals in town or to enjoy some Costa Rican food at one of the many of the restaurants located nearby.

DAY 04: MONTEVERDE
After a hearty breakfast, join us for a guided excursion in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.  Get ready for the experience of a lifetime on Sky Trek!  Sky Trek is a system of zip lines that glide you through the canopy of the cloud forest.  During your canopy adventure, you can glimpses of some of the more than 400 species of birds that inhabit the area.  Return to your hotel in time for lunch and perhaps a much needed rest.  Afternoon activities include your option of a guided cheese factory tour or an interesting amphibian and reptile zoo tour.

DAY 05: TAMARINDO / FLAMINGO BEACH AREA
After an early breakfast, depart from Monteverde to Tamarindo/Flamingo Beach by microbus.  Check-in at your choice of hotel either in Tamarindo Beach or Flamingo Beach.  Take the rest of the afternoon to relax on the beaches or to enjoy some water sports.

DAY 06: TAMARINDO / FLAMINGO BEACH
Meet at a seaside dock to take a 2-hour boat ride on Tamarindo Estuary for wildlife watching.  The rest of the day is free to explore the area.  Overnight at your selected hotel.

DAY 07: TAMARINDO / FLAMINGO BEACH
Enjoy your last morning at the beach.  Depart from the beach to San Jose.  Upon arrival you may take the time to do some souvenir shopping or enjoy some of the activities that San Jose has to offer.  Spend your last night in Costa Rica at your selected hotel.

DAY 08: DEPART SAN JOSÉ
Your tour ends after breakfast this morning at your hotel. Transfer to Juan Santa Maria international airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.  We hope you enjoyed your tour with us…. PURA VIDA!
